I was a supporter of Richard Berg. I hated the previous administration at our local. They were terrible. But Richard has disappointed us as well. He ran the local like his fiefdom and neglected the views of his EBoard, almost always people of color. He acted wrongly, plain and simple, it’s a shame, but true. He is guilty.
Leroy says: “He ran the local like his fiefdom and neglected the views of his EBoard.”
I assume that Leroy agrees with the Council’s decisions in this regard. But the council, too, neglected the views of the 743 EBoard when it rejected 8 of the ten charges against Berg and Alvarez. The charges don’t seem indicative of a sovereign tyrant overlording a “fiefdom.” Maybe presumptuousness on Berg’s part. This is a far cry from the caliber of crime his predecessors committed, which the same Council never punished nor corrected.
To have supported Berg against criminals only to end up crucifying him for poor decision making is ... well it’s… gosh, I’m speechless. All I can think of, Leroy, is pathetic. That or deceptive.
